Barbara Ann Corcoran

 Barbara Ann Corcoran (born March 10 1949) is an American businesswoman investor, speaker, consultant and syndicated columnist. She is also an television host, and author. The Corcoran Group, an NY-based real estate broker was started by Corcoran. NRT bought it in 2001 for $66 million. Corcoran then left the company. Corcoran was one of the original Shark Tank investors. She was a regular on every episode of ABC's Shark Tank. By February 2020, she had signed 53 deals. The largest of these was a purchase of $350,000 to Coverplay at 40 percent. Corcoran, who was the second of 10 children from a working-class Irish-Catholic family, was born in Edgewater in New Jersey. [8] Her mother, Florence, was a homemaker. Edwin W.
